Hariri Institute fellow Eddie Ruiz developed dbverse, an open-source software framework designed to help researchers analyze massive biomedical datasets without high-performance computing infrastructure. The tool uses database-backed analytical methods to allow laptops to process millions of single-cell and RNA data points.
