AI Ethics Lab

Victor Kumar, an associate professor of philosophy, directs the lab, which runs a talk series each semester and a conference each year, with events open to all. Its fall 2026 series opens with Bentley University philosopher Cody Turner on the moral and epistemic harms of AI sycophancy. Kumar plans further talks on AI and philosophy, possibly including AI safety and existential risk. Past events covered echo chambers, identity politics, and the evolution of morality.
