INSTEP (Interface of Science, Technology, Engineering & Policy)

A student organization founded in 2025 that bridges STEM and public policy. Programming spans science and technology policy, health policy and regulatory science, sustainability, and STEM advocacy, delivered through general body meetings, speaker panels, Massachusetts State House visits, and a STEM x Policy Designathon. Past events include "Bench to Bill," tracing how innovation becomes law, and a Women's Health & Policy panel. Members can practice policy analysis and learn how emerging technologies, including AI, are governed.
